The tour begins with a refreshing welcome drink at our meeting point, Taybeh Golden Hotel, where together with a local guide we proceed to Taybeh Brewery for a tour and tasting of the first Palestinian Taybeh Beer (first micro-brewed beer in the Middle East), followed by a walk through the Old City with spectacular views, we then tour the Parable House, a 1st Century house reflecting traditional living during Jesus’ time, afterwards we make a short walk to St. George Church (Al-Khader) a 4th Century archaeological site and church now in ruins overlooking the Jordan Valley and mountains of Amman. Our walk finishes at the Taybeh Winery, with a tour and tasting of the boutique Taybeh Nadim wines. Wrap up the day with a traditional Palestinian lunch and Taybeh Beer (vegetarian options & soft drinks available) at Taybeh Golden Hotel.

I arrived in Taybeh for a tour of the village, brewery and winery set up by Hantours.com. The woman who led out tour was wonderful, and shared information about the town, it’s inhabitants, and their lives with us in an easy an thorough way. She gave us some insight into the very old history of the town, as well as the culture and some of the ways the people there interact with the other villages and settlements around them.

Every one we talked to were very friendly and spoke English perfectly. The information alone was worth the tour. The food and beer/wine tastings alone were worth the tour.

All in all, great tour. Highly recommended. To meet with locals and get an inside view of Palestine, Hantours provided a great experience.
